After collecting a note from a student having finished her test:
“Didn’t you say we could do anything as long as we didn’t talk?”
“I did say that.”
“Well I wasn’t talking.”
“Hmm, yeah. You’re right. Go ahead and pass that note!”
“Really?!?”
“No. Notes are never allowed.”
